Gordon's village music festival returned to the Recreation Ground on Saturday 22 August, with 339 people through the gate for eight and a half hours of live music, food, drink and one very determined mechanical bull. The day raised £4,700 for Gordon Common Good, the local charity that exists for the benefit of everyone in the village.

Gordon Common Good SCIO held its Annual General Meeting at Gordon Village Hall on Monday 3 August 2026, where trustees reported on a year of significant change for the charity with a broadened purpose, two much-loved village events brought under its wing, and a healthy set of accounts, despite the hall being forced to close for eight weeks over the winter after a ceiling collapse.
